I'm curious as to "WHY" the awards were given: i.e. "WHY" is it called the First Penguin
To the above poster: As I understand it, the winner was supposed to be the first penguin to jump in the water--everyone else just follows. I imagine it changed this year because they got tired of explaining it all the time.
Along the same lines, a couple of other awards changed this year. There was no Maverick, so I'll go ahead and note that on the main page. But there was a new one called the Ambassador Award: Jason Della Rocca. It seems like that takes the place of the older community award, but who knows?
