[edit] Addition
I edited this article to include the portion about his teaching career. I did so because I am one of his former students, and have seen his work before, and asked him if he was related to the comic writer. I was skeptical when he informed me that it was, in fact, his own work, but in the many years I have known him, he has never lied to myself or anyone else I've known, so I took it upon myself to change the article as well. I'm not sure how one would authenticate such a thing, but if someone would care to inform me, I'll be more than happy to do the footwork to give this fantastic man the credit he deserves.
