The FEU Boosters is another element in UAAP games. They’re the group with exceptionally loud voices and willing to yell to lift the players and FEU’s crowd morale in every sporting event.[1]

The FEU boosters, implement strict selection on their members. FEU students who wish to join the boosters must have the following: good schedule, high adherence rate, able to adapt to training, soft skills, voice loudness and quality. Members who opt to join the squad will have to undergo training for a month then selective retention will follow.

The FEU Boosters history can be traced back as early as the 1970s. It was then that FEU is suffering from a series of Slum Games where three men including Mr. Ronald Yu, started to watch all FEU games and cheered for the TAMARAWS.

They recruited boy scouts of from the FEU high school department (now FEU-FERN in Fairview) and soon afterwards, all students in the boys high school wanted to participate in cheering for the team. Back then they were called as the FEU Cheerers.

Then on 2002 a major revamp happened to the FEU Cheering Squad. The FEU Cheerers, from an all male group started accepting females. From Cheerers their title was changed to PEP SQUAD to make it more modern. The Pep Squad President was Mr. Jerome Daza. It was then that the FEU Pep Squad was recognized by the University and was made the "official" Pep Squad of the FEU Tamaraws together with the FEU Cheer Drummers (now Green Bisons) and Cheer Dancers under the banner FEU Cheering Squad. It was this time that the Pep Squad first introduced the Main Core Gallery Style of cheering.

Then, on 2005 under the leadership of Mr. Marlon Sanchez as the booster President with Mark Enriquez as the Vice President, they put the FEU boosters to a major overhaul. The squad's name was again changed. From PEP Squad they renamed it to FEU boosters to give the group the identity they needed (PEP SQUAD members back then were mistaken for the Cheer Dancers). The squad also returned to their all male tradition, recruiting first year and second year male college students of FEU. It was this time when the boosters for the very first time had organization and was organized completely, in fact every single thing was organized. FEU cheers, chants and yells were also re-composed, to fit the modern cheer wars of the UAAP. New cheers were composed as well (Rage Full, FEU's hip hop cheer, new Defense and Offense cheer were also created). The boosters action and movements also went to a major overhaul and the routines were changed from simple to more complex to be at par with the UAAP equivalent squads. On that same year the boosters focused more on leadership and training skills and had their own form of government established.

By 2007, Mark Enriquez and Marlon Sanchez, started the Far Eastern University Booster Alumni Asscociation or simply FEUbAA. initial Members were five, they were: Mark Enriquez, Marlon Sanchez, Jerome Daza, Abigail Nuñez and Aivy Li

By 2008, the graduating boosters joined the association. Membership of the Alumni Association is now at 12.

On the same year (2008), the Booster Constitution (the booster by laws) was signed, with the help of the FEUbAA as the governing law of the FEU boosters. And the Booster website will be launched on June 2008 by the Booster Alumni. The website will contain the detailed history of the FEU Boosters and will have the copy of cheers of all FEU cheers and Hymns (documented cheers only)and music file in MP3 format of the Cheers and Drum beats of the FEU Tamaraws. The website will also contain some photos and profiles of the past and current presidents and officials of the boosters and some gallery for public viewing. The Alumni aims to that with the launch of this website, the students and the alumni as well as the fans of FEU will now have the access to the know better not just the booster history but as well as the cheers and hymns of FEU.

As for the Present, the boosters are integrating females again to the group. With membership of 80 male boosters, the group is considering to reduce it to up to 70 male members and adding additional 10 female members. This move to return to the female tradion of the squad was done by then 2007 Booster President Joseph Plantilla and is planned to be carried on to the coming years.

Back Then in the early years, FEU had no signature cheer, it was because The early Cheerers // Pep Squad is using all of the FEU cheers. The Boosters then selected TEN major cheers that FEU needed to make their own signature, a Staple Cheer. The boosters doesn't do traditional cheering, in fact FEU doesn't have any traditional cheers: that's what separates the boosters from the rest of the pack. While others have the same traditional routines with their same up and down movement, the FEU boosters have their own unique style.

The boosters are separated into two main groups;

1. The Main Booster core: these are the men 30 to 50 on the gallery together on command under the master to start the cheering, yelling and chanting.

2. The Cheerleaders: these are the select few. They're primary function is to lead the TAMARAW crowd to cheer in tune with the booster core. These 20 people are the ones responsible for lifting the morale of not just the Tamaraw players on the court and on the field but the Green and Gold Community as well. Also, when the boosters are to perform for the halftime it is the cheerleaders that does it.

The FEU Boosters is the First and the Original Booster Squad in the Philippines (booster main core style). Since the appearance of the boosters other schools in the UAAP and even in NCAA has copied the style of the boosters having a "main core" on the gallery.

The FEU boosters takes pride in being the Most Organized Cheerleading Squad not just in the UAAP but in the Philippines. Having their system work through a Dynamic Leadership Program (DLP) with cheerleaders and boosters involved. Command in the gallery for chanting, yelling and cheering is done through Boosters to Drummers, Drummers to Boosters Channel System (B2DD2B); and the Crowd Participation Control System (CPCS) of the boosters.

The Boosters also have the most number of cheers in the UAAP having more than 25 existing cheers and more than 30 undocumented cheers.

The Boosters were also the first (and the original) to introduce the Main Core Gallery Style of Cheering.

the Boosters created many creative innovations on the cheerleading style in the UAAP, the Boosters made the Green and Gold community in the UAAP cheerdance Competition not only sync in cheering but also had them do some hand movements which gave the FEU crowd total participation using FEU's own trademark in the CDC, the BANDANA.

The Boosters are one of the loudest if not the loudest squad in the UAAP owing also from the continuos support of the Green and Gold Community.
