From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello Fernandobouregard. My name is Orane (but I go by the name 'Journalist' on Wikipedia) and I am one of Wikipedia's Administrators. I just stopped by to say Hi and to formally welcome you to Wikipedia. Thank you for your awesome contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I know that being here for the first few days may be a bit confusing, but you'll get used to it pretty soon.
Here are a few good links for newcomers. I know that they can be boring, but I recommend that you take a look at them:
- Policies and guidelines
- What Wikipedia is not
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial

[edit] Aliso Viejo Community Cup
Aliso Viejo Community Cup has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this information might not be verifiable. Please review Wikipedia:Verifiability for the relevant policy. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so, citing sources.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. [edit] vanity articles
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Duane Cave may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Vegaswikian 02:41, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jew York City
Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, an article you recently created doesn't conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles so it will shortly be removed, if it hasn't been already. Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you.
[edit] Andy Richter Controls the Universe
Hey there. Can I ask you what your source was on the surname "Richards" for the character Keith on the show? I know someone wrote it on imdb, but imdb is not a reliable source for many things. I watched the series last summer and took note of all the surnames that came up, and Keith's was never given that I saw. Did you see it on the show, or are you sourcing some website? TheHYPO 04:11, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- OK - I'm going to revert it. I know you mean well by it, and assumed it was correct, but if it's not in the series, it shouldn't be taken as canon, as I'm sure you agree :) TheHYPO 06:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 30 Rock screen caps
I'll try and add screencaps this week. I've been lazy, waiting to see if someone else would do it. - Peregrine Fisher 05:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Do you want to know how to do it yourself? - Peregrine Fisher 05:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Template:30 Rock nav
Should we use this template? We already have previous and next in the infobox. - Peregrine Fisher 21:43, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm going to remove it. Yeah, I'll get caps of those characters up soon. - Peregrine Fisher 21:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Weathers and Arnett Articles
I had a look at the Carl Weathers and Will Arnett articles. They both need expansion and above all references. The Arnett article is somewhat better, for example having more photos and less trivia. I added Persondata and references needed templates to both articles. -Duribald 01:09, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- To get a higher rating, B is still generous, the article would have to be subsatantially longer, containing much more than a quick review of his life and work - the prose would also have to be worked on. To get an "A" rating you need really good, solid references, preferably from reliable sources of the paper variety. Check the criteria for an A-class article on the Biography project page, look at the example article about Linus Pauling and of course Wikipedia:How_to_write_a_great_article . -Duribald 16:43, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article assessment - The Sarah Silverman Program
As requested I've assessed The Sarah Silverman Program. I've included a summary of my thinking here. I'll hopefully have time to do 30 Rock this weekend too.--Opark 77 11:42, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of List of awards won by The Larry Sanders Show
An editor has nominated List of awards won by The Larry Sanders Show, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of awards won by The Larry Sanders Show and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Warning/notice
[edit] Spring Breakdown
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Spring Breakdown, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] You're not Jimbo
You're not Jimbo, so please don't copy his userpage to yours or anything like that. It's a bit childish, don't you think? Regardless, it violates GFDL if you don't say where you got it from. --Deskana (talk) 14:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of Charles Salter
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Charles Salter, by (jarbarf) (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Charles Salter seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Charles Salter, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 03:39, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Mr. show season 1 sepcolor
A tag has been placed on Template:Mr. show season 1 sepcolor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g2.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Carlosguitar 20:54, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I'm a tad confused
Hello. I was wondering if you could explain this edit where you reverted the cleanup I did on the Dennis Kucinich article? You didn't leave an edit summary so I can't figure out exactly why you felt impelled to do that. Thanks! —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 19:23, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Mr. show season 1 color1

[edit] 30 Rock taskforce
I've noticed you've made numerous edits to articles related to the television series 30 Rock and I was wondering if you would like to show support for a 30 Rock taskforce in voting to start one. The taskforce would help maximize the quality of articles related to 30 Rock and help organize 30 Rock articles. If you wish for taskforce to be created, paste this code " # ~~~ " here Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#30 Rock. Thank you. -- Jamie jca (talk) 20:16, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
