[edit] Re-write request

Okay, so we've got this request to rewrite the entire thing in 'out-of-universe' style. To be honest, I don't really see how this works, precisely - the only examples given border on unreadable and cite numerous sources, books, etc. Given that the only source that we have for any of the information on the Fables universe is the comic book itself, and that it's stated pretty clearly in the first sentence of the article that Fabletown is located in a comic-book universe, I'm concerned that going through the entire article citing which issues (or trade paperbacks) each bit of information is taken from will completely destroy the readability of the article.

If anybody's got any sane ideas on how this directive can be adhered to, I'd be fascinated to learn what they are, particularly as all the Fables articles are written in much the same style and thus will presumably become subject to the same demand at some point in the future. --Tailkinker 20:22, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

So don't do it. Simple as that. We acknowledge that it's out-of-universe. We have "Bill Willingham" says (although we could probably stand to do that a few more times). If you really want to dig through old Willingham interviews to give some slight tidbits about the making of Fabletown, that might be good, but it's hardly essential. The article is fine as is. Good, I'm glad to see that somebody's of the same mind as me on this one. I agree, the article makes it very clear that the whole thing's fictional, so it's fine. Should we just remove the request thing? --Tailkinker 20:45, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Just did it. Stilgar135 21:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
