[edit] Is this the EC 175?

Eurocopter Unveils Its Brand-New EC175 at Heli-Expo 2008. Perhaps we need to move the page to Eurocopter EC 175. - BillCJ (talk) 20:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Done. - BillCJ (talk) 21:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Oh, I put the page at Eurocopter EC175 (no space in designation) because that is how the Eurocopter site is printing it. Might be a typo, or it might be something new there doing. - BillCJ (talk) 09:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fenestron

Born2, any idea why the EC175 isn't using the Fenestron? Is it perhaps a size/weight thing? It seemed to be the rage on AƩrospatiale/Eurocopter products for so long, yet some of the newer ones aren't using them, like the NH90 and Tiger, and some of the older but larger ones never have, like the Puma/Cougar family. - BillCJ (talk) 09:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

It probably just doesn't win out in the cost/benefit analysis. --Born2flie (talk) 17:56, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
