Elliot Goldenthal is a candidate to become featured article on the Music Portal. A featured article should be Music-related, well-written and interesting. If you support or oppose this nomination, please leave comments so that a featured article can be chosen for next month. |
Please forgive me, I haven't edited a talk page before. I believe it is incorrect to mention Jerry Goldsmith as Goldenthal's contemporary, because the first was born in 1929 and the latter in 1954! ----RichardKleiner

- How so? doesnt contemporary mean that whilst Jerry Goldsmith was alive and making music for film that Elliot Goldenthal was also doing the same thing, ergo contemporary...Terrasidius (talk) 17:31, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Ok i spent most of my day adding to Elliot's page, ive cleaned up his page a bit to make it more presentable and have created pages for his non-film score work aswell exampli gratia 'Othello' et al. Is there some kind of wiki badge of recognition for dedication to like an artist or something?! :D will continue creating new pages for his other non-film stuff later, im going to bed soon! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Terrasidius (talk • contribs) 04:44, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Done more
Ive been editing this page and (mostly) the individual score pages for a wee while now and their coming along! :) Terrasidius (talk) 02:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] New Section
Will be adding a new section under the Bio section detailing his style and influences further quite soon (in my spare time in the next month or so, hopefully), for the benefit of readers, hopefully making it good enough to be "Good Article"! :D. Terrasidius (talk) 21:16, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Batman Film Series..." Navbox
Really I dont think its appropriate to have that navbox there, its Goldenthals main page and his navbox should take "centre stage" as it were, he only composed one batman score! i removed it once before and provided an explination (the same one as im providing now) when the box was being considered for deletion (i voted to keep it, because its comprehensive)! I kept it in the Batman Forever Score page however because its related to batman for goodness sake...
I will remove it and point to this rationalé, please feel free to comment. ΤΕΡΡΑΣΙΔΙΩΣ(Ταλκ) 22:44, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
