he always wears a purple skullcap; it has been suggested that the skullcap is non-removable

i could be mistaken, but it appears that in the recently released 1st issue of the new Drax mini-series, the big man is sans skullcap, sporting simply a bald green head.12.47.223.8 21:15, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

Isn't there a Starlin picture we could use to show his original appearance ? -- Beardo 16:13, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Drax's Powers and abilities: Erroneous Posting??

There is a paragraph in the "Powers and Abilities" section whereby the poster claims that Drax can rip apart planets.

I don't EVER remember Drax having that kind of power in any of his incarnations. Did these events ever actually happen with Drax...and more importantly, did he perform these feats with the aid of the Power Gem??

In Iron Man #55 which was his first appearance he and Thanos destroyed a planet by fighting on it. No power gem involved.

Please respond, as I wish to alter the entry in the near future to both correct the error, if it is indeed one, and to update the entry. Thanos777 16:13, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Drax was recently in the Legion of Super Heroes (animated series), but Legion of Superheroes is DC Comics, and Drax is from Marvel. Brigid 18:10, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Being sort of a geek about character strength levels I remember very specifically in an issue of "Infinity Watch" or whatever it was called, that Drax was tested, and WITH the aid of the power gem had strength that was comparable to the Hulk. The Hulk is very consistently regarded as the strongest of humanoid creature in the Marvel Universe. The only character I recall ever being definitively stronger was the original Abomination. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DRAX004cov col.jpg

Image:DRAX004cov col.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
