Discovery Civilization Channel is a Canadian English language category 2 digital cable specialty channel owned by CTV Speciality Television Inc. (CTVglobemedia 80%/ESPN 20%) in partnership with Discovery Communications with programming about the history of human civilization and current trends in society.
The channel was originally a Canadian version of an American channel with the same name, which was later reformatted and renamed Discovery Times (now Investigation Discovery).
