Talk:Dick Rifenburg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Family query
I stumbled upon someone who may be his grandson at http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/highschool/story/162311.html?imw=Y . A subsquent google search for the term Doug Rifenburg football Buffalo yielded a link to http://www.ubathletics.buffalo.edu/football/stats/fbrecordbook.pdf, which may have another Rifenburg I have not yet found. That link had the following Google preview clip: Buffalo’s last season in “Big Time”football for over 20 years. ...... Doug Rifenburg. P.J. Riga ______ 1990. Leroy Riley_________1960-61 ...
Another Rifenburg approximately the same age as the one above played football for Santa Clara: http://www.letthemplay.com/roster-a92.htm .--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:LOTD) 15:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- More family info citation requests: born to Dorothy Marie Shannon-Rifenburg and Paul Almond Rifenburg, and Also surviving thier brother Dick is Gerald Thomas Rifenburg of Williamsville NY and Toni Sue Rifenburg-Walker of Flagler Beach Florida. Seem believable. Is this sourced or coming from a family member?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 00:57, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Good Article Assessment
This is my assessment of the (current revision) article. Below the assessment are some tips that will help the page even further.
- It is reasonably well written.

- Overall:
Further analysis:
- Image used is appropriately captioned and has no copyright violation etc. outstanding on or in it's history.

- References are various, well placed (i.e used appropriately and compliant with MOS) and are reliable.

- Hardly any grammar, spelling mistakes.

- Only one issue I can bring up:
- In the lead it mentions that WBEN is now known as WIVB, and then again in the professional career section. Is this necessary, the link used is already a redirect and it's already mentioned in the lead. So that might need to be removed.

But apart from that, I see nothing wrong with this article and am willing to
pass this article. Well done to the editors involved. It's a very good article. — Rudget contributions 20:25, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
