Dejan Tomašević (Serbian: Дејан Томашевић; born 6 May 1973 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian professional basketball player who is currently playing for Greek League club Panathinaikos BC. He is a 2.08 m tall Center.

His previous teams are Borac Čačak, KK Red Star (Erythros Asteras), KK Partizan, KK Budućnost Podgorica, Tau Ceramica, Valencia BC.

He started his great career with Borac Cacak and made his first transfer in 1991 to KK Red Star where he stayed for 4 years, winning 2 Serbian League Championship titles. His next teams were KK Partizan (1995-99), where he won 2 Serbian League Championships and one Serbian League Cup title and KK Budućnost Podgorica (1999-2001), where he won 2 more Serbian League Championships and one Serbian League Cup trophy. The big transfer abroad for his career was realized when he signed with Saski Baskonia where he played the 2001-2002 season, wining the Spanish Cup (2002). He then transferred to Valencia BC, where he won the ULEB Cup in 2003 and finally on to Panathinaikos BC where he won 3 Greek League Championships and 3 Greek Cups in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and the Triple Crown in Basketball in 2007.

He was voted the Euroleague MVP of the Euroleague 2000-01 season and made First Team All-Euroleague that same year. He was also the MVP of the Serbian League in 1998. He was also named the MVP of the 2003 ULEB Cup.

Tomacevic is a first team member of The Serbian National Basketball Team, having won 3 first places at Eurobasket 1995, Eurobasket 1997, and the Eurobasket 2001. He also won a third place at the Eurobasket 1999 playing with Yugoslavia. He also won 2 first places in The FIBA World Championship at the 1998 FIBA World Championship and the 2002 FIBA World Championship playing with Yugoslavia. He also won a silver medal at The 1996 Olympic Games with Yugoslavia, and has also participated in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics[1].
