Debbie Ellison (born 17 June 1949 in Atlantic City, New Jersey) is an American model. She is best known for being Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its September 1970 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar. This centerfold was later used in the movie Tremors 2: Aftershocks as a double for Helen Shaver, although she is incorrectly identified in the movie as Miss October 1974.
Debbie grew up with her younger sister in Florida. Her father was a jazz musician, artist, and a writer.
She moved to New York City and worked as a Bunny at that city's Playboy Club, as well as in Boston. While in that city, she attended the Boston Conservatory and graduated with degrees in dance and fine arts, then earned a graduate degree in management from Radcliffe College at Harvard. Debbie is married and has three sons.
