Thanks for joining the Somerset wikiproject & the photos look great. As long as you hold the copyright etc they would be really useful additions. You might like to look at Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Somerset (although there are lots of other vilages & things which need photos which are not included on that list). If you are not familiar with wikipedia code & procedures you may find Help:Contents/Images and media useful. Thanks again & welcome.— Rod talk 14:56, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hiya!
check it out: Greinton I was a little uncertain about the name of the church -- some places I saw it called St. Michael and All Angels and other places just St. Michael's -- do you recollect what they call themselves on the sign? I went with the long name for now -- I figured it got shortened for convenience in some references. cheers! Celia Kozlowski 23:17, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Photos for Somerset
It can seem really complicated on wikipedia when you first start & a lot of the rules & processes are because of worries about copyright violation etc. If you could go to Wikimedia Commons http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_page & create an account (can be the same username & password as on wikipedia & then upload the photos (assuming they are all your own work etc) This means they are also available to other wikiprojects. Call them something informative eg Otherychurch the file name created when created you upload them will be something like Image:Otherychurch.jpg - you then need to copy this file name & edit into the relevant article & the image will appear. You generally need to make it a thumbnail by adding "|thumb" & then add a caption so you would end up with something like Image:Otherychurch.jpg|thumb|Othery church west front. To make them appear in the page add [[ before & ]] after eg [[Image:Otherychurch.jpg|thumb|Othery church west front]]. Hope this helps - if you need more let me know.— Rod talk 19:00, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
