David Rivas, full name David Rivas Rodríguez, (born 2 December 1978 in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla, Andalusia), is a Spanish football player who currently plays for La Liga side Real Betis. Rivas is a central defender.

- Rivas has spent his whole career at Real Betis. He played for Real Betis B during the 1998/1999 season, scoring 3 goals in 38 league matches.
- Rivas has played 140 La Liga matches from 1999, through to 2006, scoring 9 goals. During the 2000/2001 season, Rivas played 20 games for Betis as they competed in the Segunda División. Real Betis were later promoted, having spent only one season in the division.
