Das Auto

"Das Auto" is the slogan of car/automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen. Its literal translation from German is "The Car".

The slogan was introduced in 2007, replacing "Aus Liebe zum Automobil" ("For the Love of the Automobile").^[1] It now puctuates the end of most of Volkswagen's TV commercials, including those for the Volkswagen Golf, Beetle and Tiguan.
