Danna Sue Vale (born 14 November 1944), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since March 1996, representing the Division of Hughes, New South Wales.

Vale is the mother of four sons and she is currently the Federal Member for Hughes.

From 1984 until 1988 Minister Vale was a full-time wife, mother and student, studying arts and law at Sydney University [1]. In 1988 she began practising as a solicitor and held this position until entering parliament.

Vale was first elected to the House of Representatives for Hughes, New South Wales in March 1996, re-elected in 1998, 2001 and again in 2004. Following re-election in 2001, she was appointed Minister for Veterans' Affairs (26.11.01 to 22.10.04) and Minister Assisting the Minister for Defence (26.11.01 to 29.09.03).

She is a member of the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Science and Innovation established to look at the technology of geosequestration of carbon dioxide. The committee reported in August 2007. However Danna was one of four MPs issuing a dissenting report in which they stated, "We do not believe the evidence unequivocally supports the hypothesis of anthropogenic global warming". Among the evidence cited in the dissenting report were claims of global warming on other planets including Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, Neptune and Triton (a moon of Neptune). This and other claims in the dissenting report have appeared before and are discussed online. Danna Vale was lampooned in the Sydney Morning Herald and the local media[2] for her views.

Vale has predicted that Australia is going to become a muslim nation, as a result of Australians "aborting themselves out of existence"[3]
