Damnation Festival is a one-day metal festival held in the United Kingdom. The festival was started by a group of eight music fans who perceived a lack of extreme metal bands and UK talent appearing at existing British festivals, and therefore decided to create their own festival, with the intention of showcasing lesser-known British metal bands.

Damnation 2007 took place on Saturday 20th October at Leeds Metropolitan University, due to increased popularity and the need for a larger venue.

In the last week running up to the festival, two bands were forced to pull out at the last last minute. Devil Sold His Soul were forced out due to illness, and Narcosis had split up prior to the event. These two bands were replaced by The Inbreds and Dead Beyond Buried.
