The curling competition of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics will be held at Hillcrest Park in Vancouver. It will be the fifth time that Curling is on the Olympic program, after having been staged in 1924, 1998, 2002 and 2006. The competition will follow the same format that was used during the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, with 10 teams playing a round robin tournament, from which the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals.

In case of a tie during a World Championships, the points are split (for example, if two teams tie for tenth place, they shall receive 2.5 points). Canada, as the host nation, is qualified automatically. Scotland's points will count as Great Britain (Scotland does not compete at the Olympic level separately).
