The 2009 World Women's Curling Championship will be held in Gangneung, Korea from March 21st to 29th. A regional qualification system will be used as in years past. Korea is qualified as host. One more Pacific region team from the 2008 PCC (November??), eight European teams from the 2008 ECC (December) and two Americas teams (currently Canada and USA but the USA is open to be challenged due to finishing lower in the standings at last years championship).
