Costacciaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Perugia in the Italian region Umbria, located about 40 km northeast of Perugia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,355 and an area of 41.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Costacciaro contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Villa Col de’ Canali, Costa San Savino, and Ràncana.
Costacciaro borders the following municipalities: Fabriano, Gubbio, Sassoferrato, Scheggia e Pascelupo, Sigillo.
