Campello sul Clitunno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Perugia in the Italian region Umbria, located about 45 km southeast of Perugia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,415 and an area of 49.8 km².[1]
Campello sul Clitunno borders the following municipalities: Cerreto di Spoleto, Sellano, Spoleto, Trevi, Vallo di Nera.

[edit] Disasters
On November 2006, four maintenance workers were killed by a series of explosions while conducting work at an olive oil facility. The factory caught fire after the blasts. Around 500 people were evacuated as a precaution.[2]
