Images

  • Image:Einsof.gif (history · last edit) from [17]. This image on the website appears to come from the "Symbols of the Kabbalah" book here [18]. This could be on the public domain anyways because it's a faithful reproduction of a very old symbol. Other "ein sof" images found on google, for comparison [19][20]. Looking at the Ein_Sof article, it could be based on a Middle Ages work Enric Naval (talk) 14:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Enric, I'm unsure whether I should resond on this page, but here goes. I used image 4, but worked it up, basing my design on a particular medieval kabbalistic concept. It looks as though image 1 may have used similar sources, though I couldn't say for sure. I notice, though, that that has Hebew on all the white ring, which mine doesn't. However, I think I've come up with a solution - to put the Hebrew into English, esp. because more people will understand that abafied (talk) 16:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I've put up the gif. now as ein_sof_1. It's redrawn, with English titles and for free use, so I hope it complies with Wikipedia requirements. It's on the page for Z'ev ben Shimon Halevi.

  • Image:1811494 9AvnN-M.jpg and Image:1811491 e93dQ-M.jpg (history · last edit) - Image has a PD tag and a fair use tag which are clearly incompatible. It appears to be from a US soldier but the source claims copyright and I'm not familiar enough with US copyright law to understand if anything taken by a US soldier when they are on service is public domain or images taken for their personal use while off duty for example may not be]. Dear Hawak

You published on smugmug.com several photos of golden weapons. Somone uploaded two of your photos on the english Wikipedia project with an unclear copyright status. So what we want to know is who is the copyright holder(s) and was the copyrihgt holder(s) during the shot of the photos in US govermental service as an employee of the US or as a soilder of US? In other words are your (or some) pictures in your gallery Public Domain or copyrihgted?
