[edit] Merging Tomoyo42's Room into this article
Tomoyo42's Room is a largely non-notable fanfiction. Its only real tie to notability is its presence on Daniel Kim's popular website, where he hosts many comics of his creation. Thus, I propose merging Tomoyo42's Room into this article, as it is not notable enough on its own to warrant an article dedicated to it, but notable enough for at least a mention on Wikipedia. - Yeah, I'll agree. The Clone Manga article could stand to be longer, too. I suggest pretty much copy-pasting the Tomoyo42 article into it, as its infobox is still useful. --Crisu 14:22, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Before merging the contents of the Clone Manga articles into this one, each will need to be evaluated for copyright violations. I haven't looked at them closely recently, but in the past some of the articles were lifts directly from the Clone Manga site. –Abe Dashiell (t/c) 14:40, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- I checked pretty thoroughly, but could find nothing on the site that was copied for the Wikipedia articles. He seems to be using his comics' Wikipedia articles for their descriptions, instead of on-site descriptions, now. JimmyBlackwing 15:00, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with the merger. A single Clone Manga article is much more convenient and can still contain all the necessary info. Xuanwu 03:11, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge or "One Clone Manga to Rule Them All"
I've marked just about every article related to Clone Manga with a merge proposal. Any objections to any of them? Any reason why we shouldn't have every Dan Kim work in a single spot? Any individual comic notable enough to deserve it's own page? I think the only one that might have an argument along those lines is Paper Eleven, since it's going to be published. But even that I think could be brought here and then split later if the need arises. Thoughts? Xuanwu 09:34, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'd agree with an en-mass merge at least for the moment. Paper XI... if we're merging everything together then I don't think being published alone merits a separate article, it could be noted in the main Clone Manga article. However, IMO it would benefit (from an informative point of view) from some lightweight analysis of themes if someone could write such a discussion up in such a way that doesn't violate policy, and were that to happen I'd advocate it having its own article for that reason. I suspect that would be hampered by the whole Reliable Sources problem that was discussed in the AfD for the Dan Kim article, though, thematic analysis is going to be a lot more contentious than basic biographical information and would want stronger sources. --Sar 09:45, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Daniel Kim (artist) merged
Not the most graceful of merges, I admit, but will someone please complete the remainder of requested merges in a way that would appeal to the reader? Tomoyo42's Room, April & May & June, Penny Tribute, Kanami (webcomic), Paper Eleven, and Nana's Everyday Life still need to be merged and redirected to this article. - Done. JimmyBlackwing 19:51, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] H.H.
Hey, how about adding the latest webcomcis of his ? One is Momoka, and the other is H.H., absed off "Gimai Hitomi". The later is more centred around visual novels, while Kanami was a more tragic look at the mushy take done in Kana Imouto.
[edit] (Alternatively, there is a different ending on the website wherein Nana survives and is met once again by Minami and Marcelo and lives a happy life)
I removed this line for Nana as there is no such ending on the website. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.134.236.157 (talk) 03:55, 1 February 2007 (UTC).
- This ending does, in fact, exist. It is, however, a fan created ending and (I would assume) not canon.--Eldritch2k4 04:36, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Site down?
Is the clone manga site down at the moment, I've been unable to check for a good while and now that I can it keeps returning a not found error? Just me or a genuine problem? --Eric Wildman 12:02, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
The Gewdguys host servers are down, which is why Chugworth Academy is still down. Dan has switched to Colaguys for his hosting.-user092938475
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:PaperXI Small.jpg
Image:PaperXI Small.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
