CJEO-TV, branded as OMNI Edmonton, is a new television station in Edmonton, Alberta, which will broadcast on channel 56.
Licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission on June 8, 2007, the station will be owned by Rogers Communications and will broadcast a multicultural programming format as part of Rogers' OMNI Television system.
The station is set to launch mid-September 2008. The station was originally assigned the call sign CHXE by Industry Canada, but this was changed to CJEO in February of 2008.[1]
