[edit] JackorKnave

I've decided to give up being a wiki-user. I thought it would make a nice change from the petty vandalism I used to do, but I'm not going to be part of a community that I've just realised is pparently policed like the damn Gestapo. I assume it's probably not alright to get rid of my discussion comments -even though certain editors certainly feel they can. Ultimately, I won't allow my posts to be censored, and if they can be, then I'll censor everything I ever did here myself.JackorKnave (talk) 00:03, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks man. It seems like most of the Wiki metal editors are bang on. I'll come back and watch your progress ;) JackorKnave (talk) 00:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Trail of Life Decayed

I have weighed in on the talk page discussion and removed the notability tag. If the tagger still disagrees, I have pointed them towards AfD. J Milburn (talk) 10:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

I've moved it back. You know where I am if you need anything. J Milburn (talk) 20:05, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] August Burns Red

Hi, I've seen you on other metal articles, and you've done some great editing, so I was wondering if you could help me out on August Burns Red. Theres a dispute over the reliability of the source for one of the genres (death metal). The other party of the dispute has been ignoring the talk page. --SilverOrion (talk) 09:08, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for pitching in. -- FatalError 23:38, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! - --SilverOrion (talk) 07:31, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ken Owen

Hi, I know that unsourced material is supposed to be removed, but the Ken Owen (Carcass drummer) article is completely unsourced. I don't want to remove anything without stepping on toes, so to speak. If you could take a quick look at the page and maybe make a suggestion, can't find much about him, myself...JackorKnave (talk) 18:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Found this, but I don't know if this applies to Ken Owen:

"When a Source is Not Needed"

"Subject-specific common knowledge – Material that anyone familiar with a topic, including laypersons, recognizes as true. Example (from Processor): "In a computer, the processor is the component that executes instructions.""JackorKnave (talk) 18:53, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Skyfire

Skyfire is a melodic death metal band. The other genres listed are either present in some songs or are only rarely used. They are an overall MELODIC DEATH METAL band. If you go to their albums, they will all say melodic death metal.

I think the article stating the different genres can stay, but on the main info, I think simply putting melodic death metal is fine. TheSickBehemoth (talk) 01:22, 25 May 2008 (UTC)TheSickBehemoth

[edit] RE: Skyfire

Alright, the current page looks nice. Glad we could compromise. :)
