I believe the user "Marketing CSC" is the marketing department of Central Sussex College, the subject of this article. Note that they have recently attempted to remove the section "Common Room Incident 2006/07". This section is truthful, and backed up by newspaper articles. Obviously Central Sussex College are trying to remove it so that it does not reflect badly on them. Keep an eye out for this vandalism. 89.243.97.72 15:24, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't think it vandalism. While it might be appropriate to make a brief mention of the coverage of the incident, I don't think a detailed report is appropriate for an encyclopaedic entry. I plan to edit it quite brutally to leave "highlights". Tafkam 18:43, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- I have now reverted several edits on this page, since it seems that far too much detail is used for an encyclopaedic entry. Wiki isn't supposed to be for up-to-date news, or gossip. Tafkam 12:12, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Once again, I have reverted the article to remove excessive commentary on the press attention. It seems neither encyclopaedic, nor for the most part, relevant. It strikes me as something of a vendetta against the college which isn't appropriate in such a forum. Tafkam 18:51, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Centralsussexcollegelogo.gif
Image:Centralsussexcollegelogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
