Suppress the table of contents? Why? It's a standard feature whenever articles have several sections. ←Hob 00:02, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I guess I just thought as a matter of style and layout it looked bad in this case, primarily because the TOC comes AFTER the bulk of the text! ike9898 00:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Personal communication

I'm trying to learn about the Wikipedia project consensus on the use of "personal communication" as a citable reference (see this). If it becomes clear that this is improper, I'll remove the reference. ike9898 00:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

I removed the citation to conform to policy. BUT, I want to say this one last time: I understand the problems with citing personal communication, but removing the reference objectively lowers the quality of the article. Now a greater proportion of the article gives no indication of where the information came from. I just can't see how that's better. ike9898 19:27, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
