Carhué is an Argentine town in the Province of Buenos Aires, head of the Municipality (Partido) of Adolfo Alsina. Carhué is about 561 km to the west of the city of La Plata and about 520 km from Buenos Aires. The city is a famous tourist destination for the thermal waters of Laguna Epecuén, located about 8 km from the city.
Carhué was founded in 1877 and declared a city in 1949.
