Cardston-Taber-Warner is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada.
The district was created in 1997 when Cardston-Chief Mountain and Taber-Warner merged.
The district takes up a massive part of the southern southwest part of Alberta on the United States-Canada border. The district is mostly rural and contains a wide range of topography from Mountains to farmlands, including Waterton Lakes National Park. Cardston-Taber-Warner has a long history that dates back to the old Cardston riding in the Northwest Territories.
The district also contains Alberta's southern Bible belt.
In the 2004 election, this district made headlines when the Alberta Alliance's Paul Hinman won election, knocking out the Progressive Conservatives, who had held this and the previous districts since 1975. The last non P.C. MLA in the area was Edgar Hinman of Social Credit, Paul Hinman's grandfather. The Alliance, was so successful in 2004 it ended up winning the Student Vote and it's three Senatorial Candidates finished in the top four in district voting.
In 2008, the Alberta Alliance merged with the Wildrose Party to form the Wildrose Alliance, which asked Hinman to serve as its first leader.

On November 19, 2004 a Student Vote was conducted at participating Alberta schools to parallel the 2004 Alberta general election results. The vote was designed to educate students and simulate the electoral process for persons who have not yet reached the legal majority. The vote was conducted in 80 of the 83 provincial electoral districts with students voting for actual election candidates. Schools with a large student body that reside in another electoral district had the option to vote for candidates outside of the electoral district then where they were physically located.
