Camargo Township is located in Douglas County, Illinois. The population was 3,576 at the 2000 census.

Camargo Township covers an area of 38.69 square miles and contains two incorporated settlements: Camargo and Villa Grove. According to the USGS, it contains three cemeteries: Broadus, Hammett and Oak Ridge.
