Cédric Mongongu is a French-Congolese football player born on June 22, 1989 in Kinshasa who plays as a center midfielder.
Having moved to France from Congo at a very young age, Mongongu obtained the French-Congolese dual citizenship. A passionate football player, he began playing for the Garenne-Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine) before joining the Racing Club of France at age 13 and then the AS Monaco formation center in 2005 before making his first appearance in L1 in 2007.
