Buffalo Rock State Park & Effigy Tumuli is an Illinois state park on 298 acres (1.21 km²) in LaSalle County, Illinois, USA. The land for the park was donated to the state on November 15, 1928 with the promise that it would become a permanent state park. The second provision was that 72 year old Robert Barnett would stay on for the remainder of his life as the caretaker.
