Listing other DC characters with martial arts skills adds nothing without further elaboration. Look at how the Lady Shiva article seriously compares the characters. Mentioning that he is one of the top DC martial artists is appropriate. Merely listing the others is not informative. Wryspy 04:08, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

First, there is technically no wikipedia policy against fancruft lists, although they are certainly frowned upon. At the moment the character comes up most often among fans in discussing this topic. It is, I believe, notable that the character is still one of the first names to come up in such discussions, be they among fans or creators (Chuck Dixon and Gail Simone have discussed the lists, along with at least one other I'm afraid I can't remember at this minute). But yes, ideally there should be more material (as in the Shiva article), and I will look into that. I should be able to scan in and upload an image from the fight with Batman, expand on that, and gather details of some of his other fights. For the moment I believe the list useful in terms of showing what characters his level of skill is generally compared to, in order to differentiate him from the huge number of alleged "masters" and "world class martial artists" in the DC Universe. Its kinda annoying to have people keep putting their own favorite characters on the list of fighters but I do think the list is important I found out about most of these people from the lists on wiki and it made me track down some of their books to see why people think theyre so good.

Maybe this discussion is worth its own article, don´t you think? But I insist that The Question shoud be in this list. Richard Dragon himself, in one of his stories (I don´t remember which one, but I remember that it happened) calls him his best student. DinobotTM2

DC Comics have enought extreme marcial artists to have an article os its own. Here in Brazil, we had a whole site about who were the top marcial artists in DC comics, with a list of outstanding, great, good and average, and also about DC Comics´ marcial arts itselves; their differences forn the real ones, their styles, etc... What do you guys think? Could this be considered a verifiable resource? The main concern with message boards is you have no way of knowing who the handle really belongs to, and that's not an issue here. User:75.0.159.202

Hm. Looking at the wiki rules, the policy against message boards is definitely stated to be because you can't verify the user. Looking at comicbookresources, the identity of the user was confirmed by the people running the site. So it would appear that the reason for the wiki rule doesn't apply. I'm thinking it might be allowable to use the information in this case, although if the information was repeated in the actual comics it would obviously be better to use that instead.
