Brandon Ratcliff was born April 14, 1998 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He relocated with his mother from Highland Park, Illinois a North Shore suburb of Chicago in 2003 to Los Angeles at the age of four to pursue an acting career, although he currently resides in Studio City, California.

He is best known for his role as "Robby" in the 2005 Sundance and Cannes award-winning film Me and You and Everyone We Know. Brandon can also be seen playing a young "Mr. President" in a series of promotional videos for the band TV on the Radio for their 2006 album Return to Cookie Mountain.

Brandon Ratcliff practices Nichiren Buddhism and is a member of Soka Gakkai International. He is the nephew of professional track and field hurdler Kellie Wells.
