Branch Avenue is a road in the Washington Metropolitan Area. It begins at Randle Circle in the Twining neighborhood of Washington and proceeds south, becoming Maryland Route 5 when it enters Maryland. A portion south of the Capital Beltway is a freeway; Branch Avenue ends at Brandywine, where MD 5 merges with U.S. Route 301.
