I find this page somewhat confusing, and I wonder if any other spanish-english (in that order) speakers find it confusing as well. First of all, the article doesn't cite any source or reference regarding its ethymological interpretation of bosque. Aside from that, the word bosque, in Spanish, according to the Real Academia Española, means "Sitio poblado de árboles y matas", primary definition and the one concerning us as of now, which is: Site populated of(by) trees and plants. Furthermore, in Spanish language the word bosque, regarding ecosystems and natural zones, is roughly equivalent, if not completely equivalent to the english word forest. I am not a certified translator, but my concern is that, unless this article's alleged definition of bosque is an extremely new one that hasn't reached the public yet, there is something very big and important that was lost in translation. The word bosque is used in Spanish to refer to forests, and can be subdivided according to the many types and variations of forests around the world, but is does not actually refer exclusively to a type of riparian forest. I might be wrong, and I don't like being the apple of discord, but... DISCUSS!
