Birresborn is a municipality in the district of Vulkaneifel, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany.
Birresborn is on the Kyll River between Mürlenbach to its south and Gerolstein to its north. It has a train station on the line Cologne-Gerolstein-Trier. There is a bike path along the Kyll River. Temperature is very cold in the winter and very rainy and cold most of the other times.
