The German town of Meisburg is located in the Verbandsgemeinde of Daun in the district of Vulkaneifel in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The town was mentioned in 816 as Marisburas.
The inhabitants speak the Moselle Franconian (Moselfränkisch) dialect of German. A significant portion of the local economy derives from the local American Spangdahlem Air Base.
