[edit] Boot Camp?
Is this a valid description? I think the strip initially was in boot camp, but they appear to just be a run of the mill Army company now. Hell, Beetle's made E2 and reenlisted, ferchrissakes. Boot camp's only 11 weeks long. User:Recharge138
The strip, as of this writng (6/05) , has changed its style of humor to a different slant. The characters seem to take noticeably less humerous and 'cheap shots" at each other.

[edit] Greg Walker
Since Greg Walker began working on the strip, the quality of the artwork has declined considerably and the storylines have become ever more rudimentary
This might be true, but it seems very much just like a POV to me. Any reference materials to this statement? 85.225.26.136 12:35, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Beetle Bailey in Brazil
In Brazil, this character is known as Recruta Zero (Soldier Zero).
[edit] Webbing's pointed fangs
In the description of Sargeant Webbing, there was an inscrutable reference to his "pointed fangs" in comparison with Sarge's "tusk." I thought this might be vandalism, but the person who added it also contributed some other material that doesn't seem to be suspect. If it is in fact a valid description, there should be some explanation of what it means. Arsene 15 November 2006
[edit] POV?
"Since Walker's sons began taking more creative control over the strip, the quality of the artwork and the storylines has plummeted to such depths that it is routinely characterized as one of the worst strips in syndication by popular comics blogs like the Comics Curmudgeon."
It seems to me that this quote from the article violates Wikipedia's NPOV rule. What can be done to improve it? Should it just be chopped out? Ccm043 22:13, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, and out it went... again. 147.70.244.226 19:27, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nice work
I did a little work on the tone. The article is full of useful info, just needs to keep an appropriate tone and to cite all its sources. Marcus Taylor 17:06, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
