[edit] Notable alumna

You might consider Amy Fine Collins, author of "The God of Driving" and Vanity Fair (magazine) contributor. She's one of the arbiters of who's who's in Manhattan society. She lived in Knoxville for several years as a teenager and graduated from Bearden in 1974 (or 1975). There's no article on her yet, but she is probably notable. (She's such a hard-core New Yorker that I also suspect Knoxville and Bearden may just be a bad dream for her).--A. B. 13:34, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
