[edit] Error?

" For example, in the Batman movie of 1966, Batman and The Joker have a surf competition in full costume. Batman is attacked by a shark while surfing so he pulls a can of shark repellent from the utility belt. " This is completely innacurate and illrevelent to the article. Not only was their no surf compitetion in teh 1966 Batman movie, but the shark repellent did not come from his utility belt. (It was in a container in the hellicopter flying overhead)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.32.76.140 (talk • contribs) on 18:39, October 22, 2005 (UTC); Please sign your posts!

Duly noted. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:10, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
So, er... anyone going to change it?Optimus Sledge 18:57, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The page, so far

I know this probably a stupid comment to make, but I just wanted to say that I'm really linking how this article is going. Good linking, sectioning, description. No problems or disagreements. I've honestly never had this kind fun working on a article with someone. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:10, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] History

I think it's a good idea to add a history section it the article.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tgunn2 (talkcontribs) on 20:08, October 25, 2006 (UTC); Please sign your posts!

Hmm. Well, we already kind of have that in the intro. And there isn't really much history to it, beyond the changes in appearance. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:20, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Still, you make a good point. I sectioned off what was already written. Now, I think we just need a image of the current comics belt (with pouches) and maybe a few better shots of the other media builds. (Begins and Forever, specifically.) Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 20:27, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Other belts

Why not show the other belts in the dc universe? They are several superheroes in the dc universe who use utility belt. Why not turning Batman's utility belt to Utility belts(DC Comics)?

Maybe, Utility belt (comics)

Tgunn2 23:34, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Uh...first off, no. Guys, are you high? We're not turning this article into a collection of utility belts in comics. This article is for [[Batman]'s belt. Get your own! (Slightly kidding.)
If you want to make an article about utility belts in general, I'd start at utility belt, which is currently just a redirect. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 00:06, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Technically, police officers and carpenters have utility belts too, but that's probably splitting hairs. Evernut 16:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Still, what about other belts? 90s animated series Batman had a unique belt, completely metal and having no visible material other than the openable compartments themselves. I loved that belt, that belt was money.

So that'd be a Batman utility belt, and therefore eligible to put in this article. Optimus Sledge 10:09, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why was "first aid kit" deleted from the list?

I saw on the history that someone had added "first aid kit" to the list of items, but then someone else deleted it. Why? I've put it back on with no less than three sources that say he has or at least did have one, so hopefully this time it'll stay on there in the name of accuracy. It's not like I and whoever it was who put it there the first time just pulled it out of our rears. Evernut 18:06, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Batman had a flare.

In the Justice Leagure series where Batman goes to Egypt, where he went into a pyramid, he had to fight a shadow which he used a red emergency flare. Can we cite something from the t.v. series? Also, in various epidoes of the 1990s cartoons, Batman had a binocular. Neal (talk) 19:06, 14 March 2008 (UTC).
