Bandar Baru Selayang (English: New Selayang City) is the district capital of Gombak, in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The capital moved from Rawang to Bandar Baru Selayang in 1997. The capital is named after Selayang, a village located 2km southeast of Bandar Baru Selayang.
It has one of the largest wholesale market in the district. It was also once called "Little Myanmar" due to its large number of Burmese migrants working and living here.[citation needed]
