The town of Bagrami is situated very close to Kabul in the East on at 1797 m altitude. The population is 31,680 (2007 calculation). The road to Kabul is not bad and the city can be reached for 30 minutes, so Bagrami is becoming a capital's suburb. The Bagrami Industrial Park is almost ready and this is one of the major projects for the economy of the region.
