"Bad to Me" is a song written by John Lennon, credited to Lennon/McCartney, that Lennon wrote for Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas.[1] They released the song in 1963 and it became their first #1 UK hit. Paul McCartney was present during the recording session at Abbey Road Studios. The single would be released in the USA the following year, and become a top-ten hit in that country.
Bootlegs exist of John Lennon's original demo of the song.
The song was also recorded on the 2003 album From a Window, a set of 17 songs that Lennon and McCartney gave to other artists.
