[edit] Symbolics

The "designs by R. Rinkunas of Aukstaitija flag and coat of arms" do not appear to have any official or widespread recognition. They appear to be the invention of the neo-pagan Romuva movement and presumably serve an ethno-religious purpose for them. In any case, the claim that these items "was [sic] introduced to public in March 2007 [sic]," a date still several months forward from the present (October 2006), is mysterious. On might speculate that the pre-happening of such a public unveiling could itself have some sort of inscrutable religious significance.

In any case, this stuff should either be explained or deleted as it is both preposterous and misleading in its current form. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.44.71.229 (talk • contribs).
