Ashton is located in the western area of Markham. The school attendance area is bounded on the south by Sixteenth Avenue, on the east of Woodbine Avenue, on the west of Warden Avenue, and on the north by the homes on Personna Boulevard.

A child-care centre, Ashton Meadows Child Care, owned and operated by Upper Canada Child Care is located at Ashton Meadows. The centre staff work closely with teachers and parents and administration to support students attending the school.
