Based in Gwalior, Madhya Pradeish. 'Mahila Paksh', is an Indian women's newspaper published in Hindi, covering issues and subjects ranging from atrocities committed against women to following their successes in different fields. It is published by the Srivastva family.

The newspaper has women filing stories across India- but interestingly, includes many stories that are compiled by poor and illiterate women who are relatively disenfranchised and generally prevented from speaking out about their perceptions or situations. The stories are published with the help of editors who write them down and who train the women in reportage.

The paper's quoted mission, as expressed by Samanavay Kumar, the chief editor of the newspaper: "Our main purpose is to create awareness in the women not about the social issues but awareness for the self. They don't understand themselves and realise their potential. We want them to recognise their potential, caliber and capability. They can take their own independent decisions."

Unlike other newspapers, Mahila Paksh is "not hungry" to develop its readership. Instead the paper is interested in sustained growth through the creation of members (which it does through signing up people at a fee of two dollars and fifty cents per year). It wants to make a difference in the lives of many ordinary Indian women.

Munni Bai is one example of a victim who ended up receiving justice through her involvement with the paper, saying: "My husband works for the irrigation department. He took a loan from someone at two percent interest rate but afterwards he was asked to return the money at the rate of ten percent. I approached Mahila Paksh and gave this news. Soon after the news got published, we got rid of the problem when senior authorities intervened in the matter."

Kanta Tomar, the State Commissioner on women's issues, also has only good things to say about the paper: "Mahila Paksh is a unique newspaper of Madhya Pradesh to bring forward various problems of women. Through the initiatives of this paper, we have got lot of help to carry out various activities in the region. The paper is doing a wonderful job in this male dominated society."

Any woman who is sensitive towards the plight of women in Indian society is encouraged to become a member of the paper. The paper arranges face-to-face interactions with the staffers from time to time to educate women about its policies and procedures.

Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor is a seek and find game developed by Paprikari and released in 2007. Playing the role of young Mortimer, the goal of the player is to find missing pieces of objects in a series of rooms. The game recevied mostly positive reviews.

Charlie Price was born November 20, 1989 in Chicago Illinois. A prodigy from age 6, Charlie grew to despise the educational system he had been placed in. At age 16 he started an organization called "White Club". It's aim was to point out the foolishness of racial divides in public schools nationwide. Charlie got into competetive gaming, or "eSports", and was soon a top level player, travelling to cities nationwide and abroad to compete in international tournaments with top teams from Sweden, Canada, the UK, Germany, and other represented countries. Charlie donned the handle "Anonymous Henchman", later shortened to "Henchman``" for practical purposes. He soon got into webdesign, and taught himself enough to earn him an internship at one of Chicago's most prominent companies Manifest Digital. Tam Byrne, full name Tamas Byrne, (b. 12th September 1980) is a Football Agent working for the Wasserman Media Group.

Career

Tam Byrne began his career as a footballer playing for Blackpool FC in England in 1997. In 2003 he joined sports marketing company IMG before moving to the Athlete Representation department at Octagon. In 2004 he became an FA Licensed Player's Agent and set up Player First, a football representation company based in Cheshire. In 2005, Player First was taken over by SFX Sports Group which later was aquired by Wasserman Media Group in November 2006.

Northwestern Preparatory School (NPS) was a four-year residential Lutheran secondary school in Watertown, Wisconsin, owned and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Its primary mission was to prepare students to become WELS pastors and teachers.

It was founded as the preparatory department of Northwestern College (NWC) in 1865, and given its own name and identity in 1974. It shared a campus with NWC until 1995, when NPS was merged with Martin Luther Preparatory School of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, on the Watertown campus to become Luther Preparatory School. (As part of this reorganization, NWC was merged with Dr. Martin Luther College of New Ulm, Minnesota, on the New Ulm campus.) Because of this history, Luther Preparatory School claims to be the oldest Lutheran high school in the United States.

Jimmii Nguyen is a young musician who has just made his debut in the music community in the last three years. Jimmii, accompanied by his father, arrived in the U.S. when he was ten years old. His family settled in the San Francisco Bay area.

Ten years later, Jimmii was joined by his mother and his only sister from Vietnam. Not long thereafter, tragedy struck the Nguyen's family in the passing of Jimmii's only sister. Her death had a profound effect on Jimmii's outlook in life and shaped his artistic focus.

In retrospect, his first album Mai Mai Ben Em, (Forever By Your Side), is a tribute to his late sister. The album cover featured Jimmii in a cemetery sitting next to his sister's tombstone. Although this was Jimmii's debut album, it enjoyed quite a bit of success largely due to his passion in the composition and writing of the lyrics.

In Jimmii's third album, in the song Fragile World (The Gioi Mong Manh), he is trying to emphasize the delicate nature of life and our surrounding. His inspiration was the recent bombing in Oklahoma city and the carnage and scars that this incident has created in the hearts of the victims and their families and the American people in general.

Jimmii Nguyen's music is diverse. He seems to be experimenting with various genres and he is interested in the traditional Vietnamese musical instruments. Fans can look forward to future albums featuring these Vietnamese classical instruments.

Timmy: Timmy is a stick figure, he has a good heart but is extemely stupid. Tax Man has someting aganst him for some reason. Timmy provides comic relif for the more intellegent carictures and brings out the worst in lifeless super nerd Chase. Timmy has the main role in the strip.

Smiley Bob:The carefree, happy go lucky SmileyBob is slightly insane but his heart is in the right place. His ways of making things right usaly turn out worse than the problem was to begin with. Best freind of Timmy who's blind following of Bob gets on Chases nerves, in fact one of bobs favorite hobbies it would seem is annoying Chase. Bob is a huge beliver in the power of good Karma This allows him to smile in situations where it's almost impossible to find a goodside, hence the prefix Smiley.

Chase:Unfortunetly for Chase he is the straight man in this trio. He is a aspiring Supergenius, sudoku maniac, and clearly lacking a life. So he hangs out with timmy and smileybob possibley in a (futile) atempt at gaining a life.

Referring to their music as “hip-pop” G Fresh, 22 (producer), Robz, 20 and J baby, 19, are ringing the ears of young Americans with their ingenious lyrical style. MapleWave is a MapleStory radio station created in late July, by two young gentlemen. Slavik and Tyler . Slavik being the founder, keeps everything in order and makes sure everyone is doing well. While on the other hand Tyler designs the website and helps people with website malfunctions. All went well until it got shut down for the wrong reasons. After convincing from a fell Maple-Radio employee, MapleWave got put back on. Now MapleWave competes with Maple-Radio in a battle of respect, loyalty, and of course music. Most people prefer MapleWave because of all the good music, but others Maple-Radio because there are more rewards. MapleWave has had some Drama, in early October 2007. Giving convincing speeches by one DJ, it made everything much better. The DJs at www.maplewave.org play nearly anything the listeners request. There is a small swearing filter, only saying the F word once per talking after a song is the most that is allowed.
