D-Tension is a musician, producer, actor, director and DJ from Lowell, Massachusetts who initially made a name for himself in the hip hop industry. D-Tension also has worked in Boston as a music journalist (The Boston Phoenix, The Weekly Dig) and a booking agent (Bill's Bar, The Paradise, Axis and The Middle East) in Boston night clubs.
Musician.
D-Tension, born Steven H. Perez, first played music in the Rome City School Marching Band in Rome City, Indiana. Born in New York City, Perez moved to Indiana with his mother who was a member of The Way International, a fringe Christian group often labeled a cult. Perez played the Baritone and Tenor Saxophones in both marching and concert bands. He credits music teacher Mrs. Nelson with introducing him to reading music and sparking his interest in song writing and theory. While in living on Way grounds in Rome City Perez learned voice from choir director Cindy Bernardini and learned about recording video and audio as an intern in The Way International's elaborate stage productions. While Perez describes his time in "The Way" as turbulent and abusive he credits the group with teaching him many of the skills he would use later on in his career.
Hip Hop and the Birth of "D-Tension".
Before moving to Indiana, Perez lived in The Bronx in the late 1970's. He was a latch key kid, unsupervised and learning from the streets as hip hop was being born. He was an accomplished break dancer by 1980, years before the urban dance swept the nation thanks to films like Breakin, Beat Street and Wild Style. While being raised as a member of The Way, Perez soon was forced to shun secular music and expression but his hip hop educated soul would eventually catapult his career in music, albeit decades later.
After escaping the cultish lifestyle at age 17, Perez moved to Lowell, MA. While at Lowell High School, Perez often found himself in trouble with his housemaster Pat Keely. Perez was a fixture in the school's after school detention to the point that Mrs. Keely quipped "we're going to re name this place the Steven H. Perez Detention Center. Some students thought that was funny and soon Perez's nick name became "D-Tension". When one student said that the new moniker sounded like a rap name, Perez joked that he would one day become a famous rapper and would use that name. he didn't realize how prophetic that statement would become.
in 1989 Perez was attending Mount Wachussette Community College in Gardner Massachusetts, studying sound recording and television production. Perez already had a background in this field from his time in The Way so he found the classes boring and easy. He spent most of his time drinking with his friends an ditching class, a past time that he perfected to an artform.
After flunking out of school in 1991, Perez returned to Lowell and lived near the UMass Lowell campus. It was here that Perez lived the college lifestyle while not actually ever attending classes at the university. It was during his time at Umass that Perez met a young hip hop fan named Marc Leblanc. Leblanc had a drum machine and Perez had some crude recording equipment. Soon the two were recording rap songs Leblanc became DJ Boo Finga and Perez had lived up to his high school nick name and became D-Tension. Together Boo Finga and D-Tension formed a band with close friend and gifted musician Kevin Stevenson. The band , The Full Pimps, soon disbanded after many personnel changes. Stevenson's band The Shods, a legendary Boston punk band signed a record deal with MCA records. The Full Pimps had always had a loose amateurish nature but Perez and Leblanc wanted more so they started from scratch and hired a backing band and became The Unforgettables.
The Unforgettables played in Boston clubs from 1993-1999 in an era when hip hop acts were not welcomed in Boston music clubs. The Unforgettables often had to bill themselves as a funk band just to get booking agents to give them a chance.
In 1999 Leblanc graduated from UMass Lowell and joined the Lowell Police department. It was time for D-Tension to go solo.
Perez saved some money and purchased an Akai MPC 2000, at the time the industry standard for making hip hop beats. Perez embarked on a solo career and released his debut "Mental Illness" in 2000. Soon D-Tension made a name for himself with ribald and witty lyrics that always challenged the status quo of modern hip hop. During the next two years D-Tension toured The United States opening for acts including The Jurassic 5, Atmosphere, Run DMC and Akrobatik. The album was a critical success and lead to D-Tension winning a Boston Music Award in 2001.
The Producer.
While touring in 2000 and 2001, Perez stockpiled a cache of hip hop beats and began selling them to hip hop artists and record labels. It was then that Perez had the idea to make an entire album featuring his beats and vocals from many of the artists he had met on tour and at shows. In 2001 D-Tension released "Contacts & Contracts" on Brick Records and the album was a big success for such a small label. The lead single "It's Time" featuring underground rap legend Encore. The single would end up listed among records by Jay Z, Nas and Missy Elliot in Urb Magazine's top 5 singles of 2001. The song was also featured on The Lyricist Lounge indie rap series and on Showtime, BET and The Cannes film festival in several movies including the indie film "Lift". The song was also featured on ESPN which lead to D-Tension providing ESPN programming with instrumental music for Sportscenter , Baseball Tonight and ESPN The Life. Perez's music has also been featured on HBO (boxer Mickey Ward's official theme song) as well as The Discovery Channel, NBC and PBS.
D-Tension released "Contacts & Contracts 2" in 2006 , an ambitious follow up to volume 1 that featured a critically acclaimed bonus disc of Perez's solo material and D-Tension music videos that have been downloaded thousands of times on youtube.com and myspace.com
Director.
The success of D-Tension's music videos (Soccer Mom, No Habla Espanol, Feast of Steven) lead to an accidental career as a video director when other bands asked him to work with them on their videos. D-Tension has directed videos for 7L & Esoteric and Electric Donkey and is currently working on a screen play for his feature film debut. The Film awkwardly titled "Los Wunder Twins del Rap in Cul De Sac of Shattered Hopes: The Movie" is scheduled to be released in fall 2007.
DJ.
While living near UMass Lowell D-Tension had a radio show on 91.5 FM WJUL from 1996-2002. This lead to D-Tension being hired at 101.7 FM WFNX where he currently works as an on air personality and producer.
Journalist.
Between 200 and 2004 Perez tried his hand at writing. Being well acquainted with the local rap scene he had no trouble securing work as a writer first at The Weekly Dig and then at WFNX's sister company The Boston Phoenix. While his writing was complimented by his editors Perez found no passion in the profession. He also found that he was being handed assignments to review work he had either produced or was with artists he was close friends with. His career as a writer came to an end when his friendship with Sage Francis was damaged by a negative review. Perez decided to move on to his otherwise busy career.
Booking Agent.
In 1995 Boston clubs were not and had never been open to welcoming hip hop into their live music clubs. These clubs were afraid of the violence that had plagued the city's hip hop scene. But at this time the Boston rap scene was reaching a new era featuring peaceful and conscious rappers including Mr. Lif, Akrobatik, 7L & Esoteric and many others. Perez was already known and trusted by booker Jeff Marshall of the night club entrapanurial juggernaut The Lyons Group. Marshall gave Perez the green light and for the first time ever, live hip hop was on legendary Lansdowne st. Perez is credited with breaking a huge barrier for hip hop and booked shows for the Lyons Group for 5 years. Today a new generation of Boston hip hop talent walks through the doors that D-tension kicked in for them.
Today and the future.
D-tension, now age 35 , continues to produce music for rappers, rock bands, TV shows and still tours and plays shows regularly. He also formed a duo with Chris Butler aka Effect, a rapper from Lowell who initially had hired D-Tension to produce his album. After working together on three consecutive projects the two realized they had chemistry and shared an ethic and tendency for off beat lyrics and the craft of songwriting. They decided to join forces and although Butler is ten years younger than Perez they called their new group Los Wunder Twins del Rap. While the pair still record as solo artists they always perform together and are currently finishing an album, a feature film and have 5 music videos in the can. They are currently entertaining offers from several record labels.
Awards.
D-Tension has been nominated for four Boston Music Awards and won in 2001. He also was recognized by his peers, securing 4 nominations in the 2006 Boston Hip Hop Awards. Perez hosted the Boston Hip Hop Awards as a last minute replacement and ended up being one of the highlights of the show with is trademark humor and dry delivery.
Rock Band.
Never one to listen to one genre of music, D-Tension briefly fronted a rock band called The Dead Von Erichs. Although the band lasted for just one year, they did produce an unreleased album and they have a macabre music video on myspace.com. links

La Asociacion Nacional del Notariado Mexicano A.C. Nació el 12 de octubre de 1955. La historia del notariado se remonta a los orígenes de la comunicación escrita que, entre otros motivos nace por la necesidad de hacer constar en forma fehaciente, los pactos, contratos y otros actos jurídicos. La actividad se remonta a al año 528 cuando Justiniano expide la “Reglamentación Justiniana del documento tabeliónico”.
Por otro lado en el siglo XIII los juristas de la escuela boloñesa Rolandino Passaggeri y Salatiel entre otros hicieron hincapié en la importancia de sistematizar de los conocimientos notariales. En la época precolombina no existían notarios o escribanos pero en Tenochtitlan si había una figura denominada tlacuilo que era un artesano azteca que dejaba constancia de los acontecimientos a través de signos ideográficos o pinturas con los que se guardaba memoria de estos de una manera creíble.
En la época virreinal, cuando Cristóbal Colón descubrió América ante la presencia de Rodrigo de Escobedo escribano del Consulado del Mar tomó posesión del nuevo continente en nombre de los Reyes Católicos. Esta actividad fue alentada por la Nueva España y fue así como Diego de Godoy nombrado escribano por los conquistadores dio fe de la fundación de la Villa Rica de la Veracruz el 21 de abril de 1519 lo que constituyó así el primer acto notarial en México.
Durante el Siglo XIX incluido el México Independiente y el Imperio de Maximiliano a través de distintos ordenamientos se sustituyó el nombre de escribano por el de notario.
En el México actual la actividad notarial ha estado regida por distintas leyes que se han modificado en 1901, 1932 y 1945. En esta última fecha se establece el examen de oposición como medio de acceso al notariado.
[edit] ¿Que es el Notario?
1.- El Notario es un profesional del derecho que ejerce funciones públicas en el marco de actividades no contenciosas instauradas por el Estado y cumple numerosas funciones sociales en el ámbito del orden social nacional, y con este fin es un oficial público y delegado autónomo de la autoridad pública del Estado.
2.- Las funciones públicas y sociales del Notariado están, de un modo muy particular, al servicio del respeto y salvaguarda de la legalidad y mantenimiento de la seguridad jurídica y de la equidad.
3.- El Notario ejerce sus funciones estableciendo actos auténticos provistos de fuerza probatoria y ejecutoria, prestando por una parte, un servicio de consulta y de asistencia jurídica completa al ciudadano, estando estas últimas actividades íntimamente ligadas a la autentificación, así como al cumplimiento de actos judiciales dentro del marco de la jurisdicción voluntaria, con lo que el Notario contribuye así a agilizar el poder judicial del Estado.
4.-El Notario ejerce sus funciones públicas de manera imparcial, guardando el secreto profesional así como su independencia sustancial, económica y personal en un marco de una profesión liberal específicamente regulada, aportando su contribución específica a la protección del consumidor.
5.- La institución del Notariado, por la organización territorial de la profesión en el marco de sus competencias garantiza la asistencia jurídica a favor del ciudadano en todo el territorio estatal.
6.- el Notario esta sometido a un control regular y severo con respecto a todas sus actividades y funciones por La Asociación Nacional del Notariado y por los colegios de Notarios de los Estados, así como del propio Estado, con lo que se asegura la responsabilidad personal de sus actividades y funciones.
7.- El Notario adquiere y mantiene su competencia jurídica mediante la habilitación universitaria, una formación post universitaria de orden práctico y un perfeccionamiento permanente de su formación profesional.
En resumen, el Notario da certeza y seguridad y es un asesor jurídico calificado, que aconseja y orienta imparcialmente a los interesados, les sugiere las herramientas jurídicas idóneas, para que con el otorgamiento del acto jurídico adecuado, puedan aquellos regular sus derechos y situaciones jurídicas en general; plasma estos en un documento de su autoría, el que una vez firmado por quien corresponda lo autoriza acto continuo, para dejar constancia auténtica de este otorgamiento. Además, en segundo término, el notario es funcionario investido de fe pública para que los documentos que autorice y las copias y reproducciones que de aquellos expida, tengan valor probatorio pleno juicio y fuera de el, y en consecuencia, su contenido se tenga por bueno y válido por todas aquellas personas cuya situación llegue a estar relacionada con los efectos de los actos hechos constar en dichos documentos , y en general por toda la comunidad, no obstante no tener evidencia de lo redactado en los mismos, porque precisamente ésta es la cualidad jurídica de la fe pública.

In academic conferences, researchers (not always academics) present and discuss their work, usually published in the form of a research paper. The acceptance rate of a conference or a journal is simply the ratio of papers accepted for publication, over the number of papers submitted. This Article is the author's translation of the German version
In the month of March 1907 the Russian astronomer Nikolai Alexandrowitsch Morosow (Морозов Николай Александрович, 1854-1946) published the book "Revelation within Thunderstorm and Tempest. History of the Apocalypses Origin." (After an intervention of the orthodox clergy, in the following year, the book was placed on the index). In his book Morosow makes the case that the Book of Revelation is describing the astronomical constellation over the island of Patmos on Sunday, September 30th, 395 (Julian year). Morosow presumes that the highly educated John was capable to calculate the Saros cycle and, therefore, did observe the sky on this day in attendance of a solar eclipse. (This eclipse did occur indeed - over South America, however[1]).
Morosow states:
1. The weekday of the event is named explicitly:
- Rev. 1,10: I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day,...
2. The description of the skies starts quite systematically at the pole with a constellation named Throne (today: Ursa Minor):
- Rev. 4,2: And a throne was set in heaven...
3. The text continues mentioning the Milky Way and the signs of the zodiac denoting the four seasons: Lion, Taurus, Sagittarius and Eagle (today: Aquarius):
- Rev. 4,6-7: And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
4. The four horses were interpreted by Morosow as traditional metaphors for the planets Jupiter, Mars, Mercury and Saturn. The constellations Sagittarius, Perseus, Libra and Scorpion are sitting on them:
- Rev. 6,2: And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow;
- Rev. 6,4: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
- Rev. 6,5: And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
- Rev. 6,8: And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
5. Sun and Moon were named explicitly. The only female sign within the zodiac is Virgo:
- Rev. 12,1: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
As a Harlot, the planet Venus will be named, eventually. Venus, the symbol of female eroticism, unites with the red star Antares (Anti-Mars) within the constellation Scorpion:
- Rev. 17,3-4: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.
The description within the Book of Revelation matches exactly the Constellation for the Julian date 30-9-395.

Sun, Moon and the 3 outer and 2 inner planets will produce 3.732.480 combinations within the 12 signs of the zodiac (12^5 × 5 × 3). Therefore, a random match is quite unlikely.
At this point Criticism on Chronology begins: Common understanding says, referring to Irenaeus (Haer. V,30,3), that the Revelation to John has been written down near the end of the reign of the Roman emperor Domitian (81-96). Consequently, either the Relevation has been dated some three centuries too old, or the reign of Domitian has.

Caliper is the developer of the TransCAD® and Maptitude® commercial geographic information and analysis software packages.
Maptitude is the most capable, accessible, and affordable full-featured mapping package for Windows. Designed for data visualization and geographic analysis, Maptitude surpasses other desktop mapping products by providing expanded functionality, unequaled technology, and incomparable ease of use at a fraction of the price of other products. Maptitude comes with a comprehensive library of nationwide and worldwide maps, including complete US street maps, Census tract and ZIP Code Tabulation Area boundaries, and 2000 Census demographics.
Community 2020 was community planning software from the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and Caliper Corporation. Community 2020 was deloped to provide communication and planning tools that help citizens participate in housing and community development activities. Community 2020 was released in early 1998 and was developed in conjunction with Caliper Corporation http://www.caliper.com. Community 2020 added additional capabilities to Caliper's Maptitude GIS, enabling users to view data about HUD programs in a simple to use desktop mapping environment. Caliper Corporation is developing software applications for five major Census Bureau data programs for the forthcoming 2010 Census. These applications will be used by over 40,000 state, local, and tribal governments to enhance the Census Bureau’s Master Address File (MAF) and TIGER geospatial database of roads, legal and administrative boundaries, and geographical area reporting units for Census and survey data. These updates are essential for the success of the 2010 decennial population census and the many related subsequent activities such as congressional, state legislative and local redistricting, the allocation of federal funds to local and state governments, and the publishing of Census data. Collectively named the MAF/TIGER Partnership Software (MTPS), the five custom applications are based on Caliper Corporation’s Maptitude GIS.

Orvis/Cushman & Wakefield[5] is a real estate company specializing in the global marketing and sale of ranch and recreational properties. The company, founded in 2005 by John Watson, is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Orvis/Cushman & Wakefield is jointly owned by Orvis, a fly fishing, apparel and home goods retailer, also the oldest catalog company in the United States, and Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate company. Both companies are privately held.
The ranch and recreational properties segment of the real estate industry is marketed to a specific affluent demographic for investment, recreational and conservation qualities.
