ar-Ram or al-Ramm (Arabic: الرامّ) is a large Palestinian town in on the northern outskirts of East Jerusalem and southern outskirts of Ramallah, in the Palestinian National Authority's Jerusalem Governorate. The built-up area of the town is 3,289 dunums and in 2004 had a population of 25,200. ar-Ram is a commercial center and hosts several educational institutions for the surrounding Arab villages.
