[edit] Protection
Should we get this semi-protected? Digital Watches 08:05, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- Methinks that would probably be a good idea. --Yar Kramer 14:55, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Hay guys what's going on with this "fact/fiction" banner on the article? I read through it and I don't see anything that contradicts any canonical story info about Anji. BTW Anji is referred to as "ojisan", not "ojiisan", because he's older than either Bridget or May, but not *that* old. RTL 21:35, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

- Um ... dunno. Man In Black, what's up? --Yar Kramer 22:05, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Just wondering: Isn't "anji" the way the name "Andy" would be written in Japanese? Not that it's the least bit relevant but that one abstract thought just hit me.
- Possible, but not likely. Yes, that's how "Andy" would be transliterated, but it's also an unrelated Japanese name, in any case, and a transliteration would be unlikely to be written in Kanji. Interesting though though. Maybe that's who Mai Shiranui really means in her KO'd voice sample. Heheh. -- Digital Watches! 18:36, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Um, speaking as someone who has not heard Mai Shiranui's KO'd voice sample, what does that mean? —Yar Kramer 00:41, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- She screams "Andyyyy!"

Maybe it's just me, but the first time I saw his name, I thought of this! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.8.13 (talk) 17:11, 16 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] That Man's words, source
Can anyone tell me where are That Man's words to Anji ("If you are ready to defy both heaven and earth...") taken from, is it official American release of GG X2, or just some "fansubbed" copy of Japanese GG XX? (I kinda have a copy of GG XX#Reload partially in Japanese and assume it was translated into English by some willing guy.) In the article about Sol Badguy there is a reference that clearly states where Narrator's words were taken from, so I need to know the same about That Man's quote to list as a source in rus Wiki article about Anji. I am ru:Ari (sorry for my English, btw). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.147.135.221 (talk) 20:36, 5 April 2007 (UTC).
- That's from the official translation of a conversation between Anji and That Man in the story mode. See http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/562111/27246 for a complete script. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ShaleZero (talk • contribs) 21:13, 5 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Zessen Kanji
Can someone add what his fans say? I gather that his 'Fuujin' sprite says 'fuujin', his 'On' says 'on', etc, but what do his Guard Point Overdrive and stagger animation say? (btw his sprites can be found here if you need them) WindOwl 10:56, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] KakuKyaku
From what I can tell, Anji just calls himself Kakukyaku, probably as a nickname.
His victory quote against Ky in Arcade Mode says "First name's Anji. Last name's Mito. Also known as Kakukyaku. Understand?
- It would help to have the kanji used for "Kaku". Kyaku is most likely leg or foot in this case. JuJube 21:42, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:AnjiMito.jpg
Image:AnjiMito.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
